The best fish products start with the best fish.
That's why we've signed up some of Scotland's most modern fishing
boats to sell to us exclusively. These daily direct landings
come from vessels storing their fish in Whitelink's own insulated
and date-stamped bins, maintaining a constant temperature close
to 0°C.
Whitelink also has buyers at all major Scottish fishing port
auctions. Our co-ordinated buying system guarantees our customers
a continuous supply of top quality Scottish fish at keen prices
- including Monkfish, Langoustine, Scallop, and fillets of Ling,
Whiting, Cod, Coley and Catfish.
Immediately after purchase, fish are transported to our factory
on refrigerated trucks, re-inspected for quality and freshness
then transferred without delay to our refrigerated chills.
Using fast, hygienic processing machinery, the fish are moved
quickly through cutting and automatic grading systems, then
onto packaging and icing, before returning to the chills ready
for dispatch.
A comprehensive HACCP programme ensures the highest standards
of food safety.
